Good quality, great price! July 23, 2010 Jennifer Smith (Santa Barbara, CA United States) 1 out of 1 found this review helpful
I needed a small dining set for my dining "nook" (actually just a corner of my kitchen), and this set fits perfectly. The chairs and table are real wood, the chairs are comfortable, and neither chairs or table are wobbly. It looks nice, definitely worth the $160 I paid for it. I put this together by myself in about an hour (you will need a drill and electric screwdriver, there are no pre-drilled holes in the wood). Highly recommended.
Beautiful and Inexpensive - a worthwhile buy July 19, 2010 Kincaire 1 out of 1 found this review helpful
This is an excellent choice for someone on a tight budget. It is a beautiful and sturdy product for a low price. Mine arrived withing two weeks of ordering, and I have been very pleased with it so far. The only downside is the difficulty of assembling the piece. There are no pre-bored holes in the wooden componants, the guides marked on the underside of the table are unreliable, and the metal componants didn't fit together. It took me around 3 hours and quite a bit of sweat to get the entire set put together (granted, I did not have an electric screwdriver or drill, and I put the first chair together with the seat backwards and had to do it again. Be careful of that). This piece was a bit of work, but well worth both the money and the effort that went into it.
scratched table top March 27, 2010 Jasonfmayer (nj) My only complaint is. The table and chairs are made of a very soft wood and the protective coating is very thin. I put a huge scratch in the table top while assembling it. Now I have to sand the table and chairs and re stain them so they all match.
Just what I was looking for. March 20, 2010 C. Slate (Alabama, USA) I ordered this bistro set to go in my kitchen. I needed something smaller than a dining room set to have a place to eat smaller meals. This is the perfect size. It was easy to assemble and has a solid table top and solid chair seats. The chairs seem sturdy and the table comes with adjustable height peg-type things on the bottom of each table leg to keep it from being uneven. It also looks great in my kitchen! I don't regret ordering it at all!
Coaster Furniture January 15, 2010 Victoria J. Williams 2 out of 2 found this review helpful
I just confirmed with Coaster that this set does NOT come with predrilled holes and the wood is very hard - so be prepared with an electric drill - or a very strong pair of hands
